How to report a claim?

You can report your claim through the “File a Claim” form below. Please make sure to review the form for the necessary information and documents before beginning the process.

You will get a confirmation screen that your claim has been submitted successfully.

After submission, the Hiscox Claims Team will acknowledge your claim via email. They will assess the claim, contact you for additional information or documents, and then provide you with the decision on your claim.

How do I know if my claim is eligible?

Your claim is eligible if it pertains to an incident arising from a Fiverr service from a freelancer registered in Germany.

What information and documents do I need to make a claim?

When an incident occurs, it is strongly recommended that you collect as many details as possible - the more information you provide, the better. During the claim process, you may be asked to provide some specific information based on your case.

The following are required:

  1. Incident details – the date, time and location of the incident, as well as a description of what happened
  2. Project details - the information of the freelancer including whether they admit liability or not, and the reference number of the project
  3. Supporting documents - order confirmation and any additional documents

Who is responsible for my claim?

We've worked with Hiscox, our insurance partner, to bring you the benefits, protection and support you deserve. Your request will be handled by the Hiscox claims management team. Once your file is opened, you will receive the contact details of your claims manager. Rest assured that you are in good hands.

What should I do if I am not satisfied with the handling of my claim?

If you are not happy with the result of your claim, please contact the claims manager responsible for your file so you can discuss a solution together.

How can I update the details my claim details?

You can provide details and/or additional documentation directly to the agent handling your claim - their contact details will be provided to you once your claim is opened.

How can I monitor the processing of my claim?

Please contact the claims manager assigned to your claim to request information on the status of your case.

If the complaint relates to your product coverage or the outcome of a claim, you may contact Hiscox directly through the claim manager assigned to your file or through the contact details below. Please send in your complaint as soon as possible. When contacting them, please provide the claim number, contact information, reason for complaint or suggestion for improvement, and the correspondence so far.
